Wheel-thrown stoneware ikebana bowl, designed as a center piece for any gathering. While this bowl could be used as a deep serving bowl, salad bowl, or bread proofing bowl, we made it with the art of floral arranging in mind.

Thrown with straight walls and a slightly squared-off base, and finished with our white shino glaze that picks up gorgeous smoke patterns in the atmospheric gas reduction kiln. This is a truly gorgeous piece awaiting your inspiration.

This bowl measures approximately 7” wide x 4” tall.

OMO Ceramics are thrown and trimmed on a wheel and fired in a gas reduction kiln to Cone 10. The gas reduction firing process results in lots of texture and variation within and among pieces — this is part of what makes them so unique. 

We use nontoxic materials, always. Pots are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing with warm soapy water and drying on a stable rack. This will make for happy, long-living dishes.
